About Indy AAZK
Animal care professionals coming together to advance animal care, animal welfare and conservation — that’s what the American Association of Zoo Keepers is all about. As the local membership of this volunteer nonprofit 501c(3) organization, the Indianapolis AAZK chapter is dedicated to providing a continuing educational resource for animal care professionals and promoting participation in conservation efforts.
Each year, the Indianapolis AAZK chapter hosts several fun events that support the mission of both the AAZK and the Indianapolis Zoo — advancing animal conservation.

Want to help save an entire ecosystem while having fun?
Join the Indianapolis Chapter of the American Association of Zookeepers, Inc in their annual “Bowling for Rhinos” fundraiser. This years event takes place on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm EST at Woodland Bowling Center on the cities near northside. The proceeds from BFR are donated directly to the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy (LWC) in Kenya,Ujung Kulon National Park in Java, Indonesia and Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park (BBSNP)in Sumatra, Indonesia.
Advanced Registration Tickets are $25
Tickets are $35 at the door
Two games of bowling, shoe rental, music entertainment, pizza, and a chance to win door prizes is included with each ticket purchased.
